Description
Silver and uncalibrated Australian Opal, lost wax.
This one was kind of tricky for me actually, I thought about rounding out the stone to make it easier to bezel but I couldn't bring myself to do it. And I was still trying to be inspired by the stone... I like the green and yellow flecks in it -they reminded me of moss on a tree.
So I stuck the stone in the wax and carved the tree around it, making branches and root the prongs in front and set a bezel in back. Worked pretty well I thought. I wear it all the time!
